The mission of Yoga Tribes is to provide a variety of yoga experiences, so you can find your passion and join a tribe of others whom share a common journey.

 

Kathy Nash is the owner of Yoga Tribes LLC.

Kathy is blessed with a supportive and loving family. She is married with 3 children and a dog. She is married to John Nash, owner of Nash Project Management.. She has a daughter, Melissa, who is married with a bonus daughter. She also has 2 boys, Shawn and Jacob.. The newest addition to the family is her French bulldog, Kalvin.

Kathy is a 200~hour Registered Yoga Teacher and a 95-hour Registered Child Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has specialized trainings through Radiant Child/Family Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Baptiste Power Yoga, ChildLight Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Mindful Movement Yoga and Yoga 4 Classrooms. She teaches, both, child and adult yoga/meditation classes.

Kathy is Reiki Level 2 certified and enjoys applying her Reiki knowledge and experience within her yoga teachings.

Kathy is an IMPLEMENT Leader for Yoga 4 Classrooms. She has over 20 years experience in a public school setting as a Speech Language Pathologist. She began teaching yoga to children in the school setting over 10 years ago. Her experience has been with typical children and intensive needs students including Autism, Down Syndrome, Multiple Disabilities, and Cognitive Disabilities, . Over the past 5 years, Kathy has applied her yoga skills by teaching whole school yoga and classroom yoga in the general education classrooms. She enjoys applying mindfulness to her day and her students’ speech / language therapy sessions.

Kathy is a Trainer for Radiant Child Yoga. She completed a 200~hour training through Radiant Child/Family Yoga. The program had always spoken to her from the moment she clicked on the RCY website. She enjoyed the program so much that she was inspired to become one of RCY trainers to train adults how to teach children yoga.

Kathy is the founder of happyED. This program is a mindfulness program for staff in the education setting. My goal has always been to target the adults to create a mindful classroom. This program focuses on the adults and has a classroom piece as well.
